Release Date: November 4, 2006.
Color Cop is an intuitive application that supplies users with an eye dropper, whether we are talking about web designers, programmers or graphic editors. Its features can be effortlessly figured out. It can output color codes in the following hex formats: HTML, Delphi, Powerbuilder, Visual Basic, and Visual C++.
An important feature of Color Cop is that it saves the last 7 selected colors. Plus, you can add a custom color with the help of the color palette.
Other options are available through the context menu. For example, you can switch to another color mode (e.g. HTML, Delphi or Visual C++ hex, PowerBuilder), increase or decrease the multi-pixel average, as well as make the app automatically run at the system startup, to name but a few.
Color Cop supports keyboard shortcuts, includes a help file and is low-demanding concerning the CPU and system memory.
It features an eyedropper, magnifyer with 1 to 16x zoom, 3 by 3 and 5 by 5 average sampling, snap to websafe, auto copy to clipboard, color history, and a 42 color complementary color palette. It provides users with an effective solution to using a color picker for their websites or presentations.
