Password Safe is a small tool that was designed to help you store complicated combinations in the same place. The app’s interface is very simple, so it should be easy to figure out by any users. The program itself requires a master key to open the database that includes all the passwords you need.
In order to create an entry, you must give it a name. Furthermore, it is required to fill in the username and password. Additional details, such as the URL, email address and personal notes may be filled in as well.
The contents of these entries can be copied to the Clipboard so they can be used to log into various accounts. If you ever change the key combination for a certain account, it’s always possible to edit the available entries.
Additional settings are available for the program. Aside from the options that enable you to add features to the main display, it’s also possible to choose a default username, to have an icon in the system tray, to modify various shortcuts or to assign new ones, to name just a few.
The bottom line is that Password Safe is a nice tool that is sure to come in handy on a daily bases. Less experienced individuals shouldn’t have to worry about not being able to work with this app, thanks to the intuitive layout and its overall simplicity.
