Release Date: August 2, 2002.
If you are still stuck with a computer that runs on Windows XP or 2000, you might find out that you are not able to configure the frequency at which your monitor is refreshed. By default, the system is configured to fallback to a rate of 60Hz, which is very slow and disturbing for most.
RefreshForce is designed to solve this issue, making things easier for you by automatically overriding the refresh rate at a user-defined value, which makes every application or game look better on your non-flickering monitor.
Designed to work with any hardware configuration (graphics card, monitor and installed drivers), as well as systems equipped with more than one nitor, this handy tool is very easy to work with.
It automatically detects the graphics adapter and can determine the highest refresh rate values for each resolution with the help of the 'Auto Populate' function. Alternatively, more advanced users can manually set the desired display settings.
It is advisable that you don't input values that exceed the ones supported by your display. Also, please note that invalid entries can result in deactivating that particular mode for the selected monitor.
RefreshForce allows you to select the desired monitor from the drop-down list and customize the settings. After the mandatory system restart, the new configuration is applied and your monitor is working at the highest refresh rate possible.
