Fragdown v2.4

Release Date: March 30, 2004.
Fragdown is a simple utility that has been created mainly to perform a defragmentation job on the system and then turn it off. The installation process is not complicated and, if started immediately after, the application is set to follow the default procedure, which means that after the defrag task completes the system is shut down.

There are multiple modes the program can work in and all of them are described in the documentation that is saved in the installation folder.

Depending on the selected mode, the program can automatically turn off the computer, so it it recommended to save all the work before running it.

There are seven parameters in the documentation and four of them result in shutting down the system without any warning. In the case of some of them the defragmentation screens are hidden while others display the icon of the application in the system tray area.

Fragdown can also show the dragmentation degree for the targeted drive; the details include information about the total space available as well as the amount that is free and the fragmentation percentage.
