Leak Test v1.2

Release Date: December 8, 2002.
LeakTest is a safe and small (27k bytes), completely benign chameleon utility which can be used to simulate the presence and effect of Trojan horses, viruses, and adware/spyware running in your computer. It simply and quickly tells you whether it has been able to slip out past your firewall's outbound Trojan/Virus/Spyware protections.

The protection of any system is of the utmost importance, especially if the network or environment are more prone to external threats than the average user's PC.

In business environments, for example, there should be several layers of security that can work together and block any attempt to reach sensitive information without authorization.

Performing regular maintenance and verifications is also mandatory if safety is a concern and for these tasks there are quite a few utilities available out there that can respect. One of the tools that can be used to put to the test the security measures on a computer is Leak Test.

This program is meant to simulate as much as possible the actions of a hacker who is trying to penetrate the defense of the target PC. The assessment will help a lot in the evaluation of the protective measures taken onto one or more computers with identical configurations and security policies.
