BIOS Information Tool v1.1

Release Date: May 6, 2004.
BIOS Information Tool is a simple command-line utility that displays detailed information on your system's BIOS, as the name implies. It comes in handy if you want to analyze data before updating BIOS, for instance. Once you launch a Command Prompt dialog and run BIOS Info Tool's executable file, you can view a detailed list of BIOS information.

While most popular applications integrate a graphical interface, some users prefer working with command-line tools, since it typically grants them an extra level of flexibility when it comes to supported commands.

Furthermore, this type of application does not affect the system's overall performance, usually running on a low amount of CPU and RAM. It does not require installation, so it can be run from any location on the hard disk as well as from USB flash drives on any machine.

The information viewed includes  BaseBoard, system and general BIOS information (e.g. manufacturer, product, version, serial number, ROM size, release date), along with supported features and add-ons. It can be copied to the Clipboard for further scrutiny.
