Release Date: March 13, 2002.
CopyToXP is a small tool that modifies the Windows Registry to allow the use of a very useful option included in Windows 2000 and XP but disabled by default. It is about being able to move or copy files from one folder to another through the right mouse button menu, without having to open the two folders and juggle with the mouse. CopyToXP is a registry tweak to enable the useful - but not installed by default - functions of XP and 2K that allow you to copy or move multiple files to any directory. Project has been abandoned. While not updated since 2002, however it has been tested as recently as 2018 and found it works under Windows 10.
You can move or copy multiple files simultaneously and create new directories on the fly if necessary.
To install it, simply unzip the ZIP file into a temporary folder, run copyToXP.reg and click "Yes" on all dialog windows. Immediately you will have access to the new options in the contextual menu of any file.
Once this file has been downloaded, open the archive (using Winzip or Winrar) and then double click on the file CopyToXp.reg (for the uninstallation you just need to double click on uninstallcopyToXp.reg ).
In theory, you will see a message that you are going to enter data in the registry. The installation is finished!
